Sometimes when our kids are angry, reading books with characters that they can relate to can be helpful. I am constantly asked what my favorite books are for different feelings, so I thought I would share some for anger!
Anger is not a bad thing. It is important to let our kids know that there is no shame in being angry, we just need to learn and talk about ways to appropriately express our anger. These books also allow us the opportunity to have a conversation with our kids to help them learn what their anger is telling them. Often times we aren’t just angry, our anger is hiding other emotions.
